All your cameras, one control screen
Video management
ProVife brings cameras and recorders from different vendors together on a single local server, giving operators live monitoring, playback, video wall and maps in the same interface.

A security center’s efficiency starts at the operator’s screen. ProVife Video management combines live monitoring, saved views, camera tours, PTZ control, fisheye dewarping, a four-output video wall layout and camera locations on a map in a single desktop client. Cameras are added via ONVIF, video reaches the server over RTSP and is distributed to clients through the server, so cameras do not need to be exposed outside the network. Camera connections are kept when the layout changes, a tour page rotates or the operator switches between menus. Whether the installation is a small branch on ProVife Box or an enterprise control room on ProVife Server, the operator sees the same screen.
One interface
Live monitoring, playback, video wall and maps in the same client; operators never get lost between screens.
Vendor-agnostic
Cameras and recorders that support ONVIF and RTSP work together in the same system.
Uninterrupted operator experience
Camera connections are kept across layout changes, tours and menu switches, with no waiting for video.
Control room ready
A control room setup with a four-output video wall and AI Monitoring mode is configured in software.
Live monitoring and layouts
The main view is where operators work all day. Switch between preset layouts from a single view up to 64 tiles, drag cameras to swap them and enlarge them with one click. Small tiles use the substream and an enlarged tile uses the main stream, keeping network and CPU load balanced. Cameras are grouped in a site, building and floor tree, and frequently used layouts are stored as saved views.
- Layouts of 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49 and 64 tiles
- Drag-and-drop tile swapping without dropping the connection
- Substream in small tiles, main stream when enlarged
- Camera groups based on the organization tree
- Saved views recalled with one click
Camera tours and seamless switching
A camera tour shows pages in sequence at a set interval. A few seconds before the switch, ProVife opens the next page’s cameras in the background, so video appears without delay when the page changes. When you switch to a menu and come back shortly after, streams are not re-established. If a tile stops, the live log states the reason clearly, such as session closed, no permission or stream interrupted.
- Next page prepared before the tour switches
- Open stream pool across layout changes
- Previous frame cleared immediately when the camera changes
- Live log showing why a tile stopped
PTZ, patrol and auto tracking
PTZ cameras are controlled from within ProVife; presets are saved, and ONVIF patrol tours are created and started. When PTZ auto tracking analytics are on, the camera automatically follows a target entering the analytics area. Operator PTZ priority is managed in the video and audio settings, so it is clear who controls the camera in a busy center. Patrol tours scan large areas in sequence throughout the night; the operator can stop the tour when needed, steer the camera manually and then resume the tour where it left off.
- Pan, tilt and zoom control
- Presets and ONVIF patrol tours
- PTZ auto tracking that follows moving targets
- Role-based PTZ permission
Fisheye dewarping
360-degree cameras need readable views rather than a single round image. The ProVife client dewarps fisheye video according to ceiling, wall or desk mounting, and offers panorama and virtual PTZ views. Because dewarping is done in the client, it puts no extra load on the camera’s own processor, and different operators can open different views from the same camera. A single ceiling camera can present an entire store floor or lobby to the operator as several separate views.
- Ceiling, wall and desk mounting modes
- Panorama view
- Area zoom with virtual PTZ
- Dewarping in the client, no extra load on the camera
Video wall
In the control room, ProVife manages the four monitor outputs connected to the computer individually. Each output is assigned a layout and a camera list, and can open in full screen if desired. An output can be switched to AI Monitoring mode to show the selected camera’s analytics scenario live. When a monitor is disconnected, the related wall stops and the operator is notified; cameras the user has no permission for are not placed on the wall. Because wall layouts are saved, the same layout comes back in one step at a shift change or after the computer restarts.
- Saved wall layouts across up to four monitor outputs
- Separate layout and camera assignment for each output
- Camera grid or AI Monitoring mode
- Wall content that respects camera permissions
- Safe stop when the monitor connection changes
Maps and floor plans
Cameras are marked on a map or floor plan image; the operator clicks a camera on the plan to open its live video. At large sites, this lets even a new operator who does not know where a camera is located reach the right view in seconds. If the Smart building module is in use, building, floor and section plans are also monitored along with device states. The map image and camera markers are stored in the client, so each control desk can use a map suited to its own area of responsibility.
- Map or floor plan image upload
- Camera markers and click-to-view live video
- Device status on building and floor plans (with Smart building)
- Alarm map for alarms without a camera

Frequently asked questions
Can I monitor cameras from different vendors on the same screen?
Yes. ProVife adds cameras via ONVIF and receives video over RTSP. Cameras and recorders that support these standards are managed on the same screen, under the same rules, regardless of vendor.
Does a video wall require separate hardware?
No separate matrix hardware is required. ProVife manages the monitors connected to the client computer individually, up to four outputs; a layout and camera list are assigned to each output in software.
Can an operator be restricted to monitoring only?
Yes. Operator desks get the ProVife Surveillance client, designed for monitoring only. Which cameras a user sees and whether they can use PTZ are determined by role and camera permissions.
How does licensing work?
With a perpetual license, you buy a base package of 32, 64, 128 or 256 channels; beyond 256 channels, each channel is added separately, and each AI analytic is licensed per channel. With an annual license, there is no channel limit and all analytics are unlocked.
