Conversion rate
Counts people crossing the checkout line as shoppers and calculates their ratio to store visitors.

Conversion rate is the checkout option of Store Analytics. People who cross the checkout line you draw on the checkout camera in the direction you set are counted as shoppers. ProVife compares this number with the number of visitors who entered the store the same day to calculate the conversion rate. You can see how much visitor traffic turns into sales, and on which days and at which hours the rate drops. The impact of changes to campaigns, window displays and staffing is tracked with the same metric. The rate appears day by day in the store’s daily report, PDF pages and Excel export.
How it works
On the Store Analytics screen, turn on the store’s Conversion rate option.
Select the checkout camera and draw the checkout line where customers pass after paying.
Select the crossing direction to count as a purchase.
ProVife counts people crossing the checkout line as shoppers.
The rate is calculated by dividing the number of purchases by the day’s incoming visitors.
