Fight
Evaluates consecutive frames together to recognize pushing and fighting movements, and alerts security immediately.

Fight analytics looks not at a single frame but at the flow of motion over a short time window. ProVife evaluates consecutive images in the area you choose together and recognizes motion patterns such as pushing, hitting and grappling. An event is created when the fight detection repeats for the consecutive confirmation count; a single sudden movement or a wave of the hand does not produce an event. It is designed for schoolyards, nightclub entrances, hospital emergency rooms, prison common areas and public transit stops. The event is sent with an image marking the area to the control room and the field team at the same time.
How it works
Draw the area where fights should be monitored on the image; choose the zone where people come together.
Set the confidence threshold; the default is kept high to reduce unnecessary alarms.
Enter the consecutive confirmation count; it sets how many times in a row the detection must be seen.
ProVife evaluates consecutive images in the area together over a short window.
Once confirmation is complete, an event is created and the selected alert methods kick in.
Settings
| Area | The zone where the flow of motion is evaluated; drawn around where people gather. |
|---|---|
| Confidence threshold | The minimum confidence required for an event; a high value reports only clear fights. |
| Consecutive confirmation | How many evaluations in a row the detection must be seen. |
| Repeat interval | The time between two notifications for an ongoing event. |
| Severity | Critical level is usually selected for fight events. |
What it produces
- Fight event: confidence value, the time window evaluated and the zone name.
- Event image with the analytics area marked.
- The event appears on the AI Playback timeline under a fight heading.
- Clicking the event’s recording jumps to the moment the fight began.
What you can do with the event
- A critical pop-up window and audible alert in the control room.
- A WhatsApp notification with an image to the on-site security team.
- A deterrent announcement over the speaker and turning on area lighting.
- Forwarding the event via MQTT to the emergency management system.
- Forwarding the event by email to the administrator in charge.
Where it is used
Education
Fights starting in the schoolyard and corridors are sent to the teacher on duty and security at the same time.
Healthcare
Tensions in the emergency room waiting area reach the security unit instantly.
Entertainment
Scuffles in the nightclub entrance line are reported to the door team.
Transportation
Fights at bus stops and station platforms are sent to the monitoring center.
Camera placement
- Mount the camera 10–13 ft high, at a distance where it sees people’s whole bodies.
- Keep the area tight around where people gather; do not include empty space in the analytics.
- In crowded settings, choose a high angle where people do not block one another.
- Make sure the area is sufficiently lit at night as well.
